My DWTS Obsession

Ok, I'm a little hesitant to even mention this, but I am a big-time fan of Dancing With The Stars. Why the hesitation, you ask? Well, here's the deal: we don't do cable or hulu+ or anything like that so I watch the episodes on regular hulu eight days after they air. Eight days. Which is totally fine with me, but DWTS is a pretty huge show so if I'm listening to the radio or surfing the web and anything DWTS-related comes up, you will find me covering my ears and "la-la-la, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" as loud as I can, as quick as I can. I do not want to know what's going to happen before I see it. I do not want to know who got eliminated or who got the first perfect score of the season or ANYTHING before I get to watch it. Capiche? So having said all that, I cannot help but share one of the cutest dances ever this week on the blog.

But I swear, if you give anything away: I will cut you.
On this particular episode, all the remaining couples had to do what they call a trio dance and this is probably the best concept for a trio dance that I have seen on the show. I mean, Derek and Nastia aren't even my favorite couple this season (Go Riker & Allison! Go Rumer & Val!), but this dance is just too freakin' adorable. Way to go, Derek. Way to go.

But seriously though....
                                                                                                            .....do not tell me anything.

  1. Haha! I love that meme so much. I haven't watched that show in a really LONG time but I did like that dance!

    1. Right?! It's so hilarious! Yeah, DWTS is one of the few shows that holds my interest from beginning to end every season. =)

  2. Very cool, but then that's why Derek gets the big bucks. :) You need to get an antenna, but then you're probably out on Monday nights so an antenna wouldn't help?? Anyway ... my biggest gripe with the show is the judges. Can I just say they are annoying? I watch the dancing half the time and mute what the judges have to say. :) I could go on and on ... but I won't. So do you actually call or just watch?

    1. Yeah, I have to watch it on my own schedule or it would never happen. I don't mind the judges too much. I appreciate what Len has to say (I think because we're on the same page about wanting to see more traditional choreography) and I think Bruno is HI-larious, but Carrie Ann and Julianne definitely annoy me. I don't even know why they made Julianne a judge in the first place. Whatever. I've never called in. Especially now that I watch online, I miss the voting periods.

  3. I stopped watching the show when they started putting on celebrities I'd never even heard of. Also, I hate that stars with actual skill get voted off by America in favor of more popular celebrities.

    1. Yeah, that totally happened this season with Willow (some little girl off the Hunger Games?) but I wasn't too broken up about it because she's 14, and I'm sorry, but what kind of parents let their 14-year old go on that show?? I'm not about it.
