A Word for Wednesday

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do."

~Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee~

  3. This is an AMAZING book.
Did you know I was in the stage production twice?
Once as Scout at 12; and again as Mayella at 19.
    I. Love. This. Story.

  5. When I read the quote below, you immediately came to mind! So, first I stopped and prayed for you and Cody, and now, I'm posting the quote for you to read. ;-)

“We should always choose our books as God chooses our friends, just a bit beyond us, so that we have to do our level best to keep up with them.”
