During our second year of marriage, Cody and I began the process to adopt from Ethiopia--a process that drags on to this very day. He decided to carve Africa on his pumpkin which he totally drew freehand directly on to the pumpkin. He's amazing. I decided to carve LOVE vaguely inspired by the famous NY Love sign.
His turned out awesome. I like how my deformed little pumpkin turned out even if it wasn't as awesome. This was in our second home sweet home. An apartment that I loved but who's memory is tainted by the worst neighbors we've ever had.
