A Word for Wednesday

"This is the life! How good! This is how I'd like to live!"

"Who's stopping you?" said Levin smiling.

"No, you're a lucky man. You have everything you love. You love horses—you have them; dogs—you have them; hunting—you have it; farming—you have it."

"Maybe it's because I rejoice over what I have and don't grieve over what I don't have," said Levin.

  1. I really struggled reading this book (maybe because everybody's name was the same? haha), but I do appreciate that thought so much. It's so easy to be dissatisfied because you get too caught up with what everyone else has instead of enjoying what you do have. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Yeah, the name thing is crazy in that book. The thing that throws me is that everyone has so MANY names. Right when I think I know who's who, they start referring to him/her by a different name! Aughh! Glad you liked the quote though! :)
