A Word for Wednesday

"Do not waste time bothering whether you 'love' your neighbor; act as if you did.
As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets.
When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him."

~from Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis~

  1. Oh man, this quote reminds me of when we were doing the Bible study with Karen H. "A Young Woman After God's Own Heart" and we were challenged to think of someone we really didn't like and learn to love them by praying for them. That was so hard for me, but a good life lesson.
